Do I need to have a membership to The Crag to schedule an appointment?No! You do not need to be a member or climber to come for physical therapy. We treat everyone!

Do I need a referral to come to Nashville Physical Therapy and Performance?No. In the state of Tennessee, you do not need a physician referral to come to physical therapy. You can come directly to us first.

How many times will I need to come in a week?Because of the extensive one on one time compared to the traditional model, you will likely not need to attend physical therapy sessions at the usual frequency of 2-3 times per week. You will get much more out of each session, allowing you to get the results you want at a 1-2 times per week frequency. Many patients only need to come weekly.

How long will I be with the physical therapist?All of your sessions will be completely one on one with the PT. You will never be passed off to a lower or non skilled staff such as a PTA or PT tech.

What do I need to wear to my session?It would be best to wear athletic clothing to your sessions, with the area being treated easily exposed for manual therapy, taping, etc.

Can I use my HSA card?Yes! Physical Therapy is a medical service. We accept HSA cards.

Can I submit these sessions to my own insurance?Yes! You may request a superbill of services provided from Nashville Physical Therapy and Performance to submit to your own insurance for out of network reimbursement. You can check your out of network physical therapy benefits by calling the number on the back of your insurance card.

Do you accept insurance?Nashville Physical Therapy & Performance does not participate in any insurance networks. By not accepting insurance, we are free to do any treatment necessary to return you to your highest level of function. Many insurance plans have a high deductible that patients never meet. A cash based treatment is comparable in cost, but the level of care is much higher.
