About AC

AC has always been fascinated by how the human body works, and that curiosity eventually led her to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Belmont University. With an interest in biomechanics, human movement, and manual therapy, she has pursued advanced training including Selective Functional Movement Assessment, trigger point dry needling, running gait analysis, and endurance running coaching, most recently earning her Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) credential in 2026.

Her clinical experience is rooted in orthopedic physical therapy, with a special interest in runners, active adults, and people who want to return to the activities they love. She has experience with running gait analysis, gait retraining, strength and conditioning, and return-to-running programs, and she enjoys helping patients connect the "why" behind their symptoms to the things they can do to move forward.

AC believes the best physical therapy is collaborative and educational. Patients should understand their bodies and feel like active participants in their recovery, rather than simply being handed a list of exercises. She combines hands-on care with progressive exercise and movement training, meeting patients where they are while helping them build toward what they want to do next. Whether you're recovering from an injury, returning to activity after time away, trying to build strength, or simply wanting to move better, AC works with you to develop a plan that fits your goals and your life. Her goal is to give patients the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to move well, not just during their time in physical therapy, but long after they leave the clinic.

Outside the Clinic

Outside of the clinic, AC enjoys hanging out with her husband and their two cats, reading, hiking, traveling, and learning as much as she can about the world around her.
